A Legacy of Winemaking
Founded in 1999 by brothers Ed and Charlie Shelton, Shelton Vineyards has grown into one of the largest family-owned estate vineyards on the East Coast. Set on over 200 acres of rolling hills in Dobson, the estate produces a wide range of award-winning wines that have helped put the Yadkin Valley on the map as a serious wine region.
The on-site Harvest Grill offers farm-to-table fine dining with vineyard views, making it a destination unto itself. The Yadkin Valley AVA's unique climate -- with warm days, cool nights, and well-drained granite soils -- creates ideal conditions for growing premium grapes, and Shelton takes full advantage of every acre.
